Gabriella was starting to freak out about her wedding these days. With NEWT exams drawing ever closer, she had less and less time to think about planning a wedding, much less energy to come up with ideas for it. But tonight the seventh year was determined to get something done. She and Isaac hadn't even decided where the wedding was to be held!
She sat in the group commons and curled into a ball, notebook on her lap. It was late at night, but Gabriella could only sleep in the day, so she wasn't missing out on anything. She would've preferred to have been outside, but it was raining and she wasn't in the mood to get wet.
Gabriella scanned what was written in the notebook, though parts were hard to decipher due to things constantly being scratched out and added back in. She still loved Safira's idea of a moonlit garden the best. But where would that be held? This is useless, Gabriella thought exasperated. She needed Isaac if she was going to decide anything. Unfortunately, Gabriella had no idea where her fiancee was at the moment. Biting her lip slightly, she flipped the page and focused on the topic of dresses.
The idea of getting married in a traditional white dress had already been tossed out the window. Gabriella just didn't look all that great in pure white, due to her vampire complexion. Putting the notebook down, she summoned some catalogs and began searching through them again. There was a cream one she liked, but it had a bow on the front. That was just weird. Gabriella kept flipping. Her eyes spotted a gold dress and she tilted her head slightly. Would that work? She would have to try it on to be sure. Just then, the vampire caught the smell of someone coming into the group commons. Her long hair flew as she turned, only to see...

It was Raychel, casually strolling along. She had her nose buried in a book, about the life and work of the Brothers Grimm, Wilhelm and Jacob. Her long dark hair was falling gently over her shoulders, and her school robes fluttered around her jeans. Looking up, she saw a girl looking over some catalogs, and she proceeded to blush. "Oh, I'm sorry. "Did I interrupt you? I'll just be going!" she said quickly and quietly.

Gabriella absently checked her watch. Well, there was three minutes until lights out, so there was really no point in turning the girl in. "No, it's fine," she said. Perhaps this girl could offer her opinion on dresses. Since Angel had dropped out, Gabriella hadn't had much in the way of girl time. "Can I ask your opinion on some of these dresses?"

Raychel eyed the girl's Head Girl badge momentarily, then walked up alongside her. "Sure." she smiled. Looking over the catalogs opened, she flipped through until she found a gold, sparkly dress. She picked it up and held the picture next to the girls hair and face, then her arms. Smiling, she set the catalog down in front of her. "The gold one. Fits your complexion, hair, and build perfectly. With a pair of nice gold shoes, and maybe a nice necklace, it would be perfect." she replied matter-of-factly.

"Excellent, I liked that one too," Gabriella replied with a grin. She held up her left hand to the page. "It even looks good with the ring," she added contently. Gabriella decided on the spot that she liked this girl, though she didn't know her very well. "I'm Gabriella, but just about everyone calls me Gabby." Gabriella caught the girl looking at her Head Girl badge which was near the Quidditch Captain one. She smiled slightly, but didn't mention it. Gabriella didn't like to brag.

Raychel smiled. "I'm Raychel. Nice to meet you." she replied. She looked at the dazzling ring for a moment as it lined up with the dress. "Yes I agree. Absolutely stunning." she chimed in. Raychel was taking a certain fondness to this girl, but she wasn't about to declare that to her new companion. She settled down into an armchair across the table from Gabby. "So, what is the dress for, may I ask?" Raychel assumed she had a pretty good idea to what it was for, but she didn't want to be rude and jump to conclusions, all though, in this case, it was pretty obvious.

"Nice to meet you as well," Gabriella replied with a grin. It was good to be able to talk to a girl near her age again, especially one that she found she rather liked. "Oh, I'm getting married in August to Isaac Malfoy. Yes, the Weasley and the Malfoy, who would've thought?" The last part was a bit to herself, because Gabriella sometimes found herself laughing at what had happened in her love life. But other times it wasn't funny at all. Like when she had to tell her father about the wedding...

Raychel smiled and nodded. "Congratulations." she replied. Raychel had met Isaac a while back, during one of her evening jogs around the Black Lake, but she didn't say anything. It wasn't important that Raychel knew the groom, so she kept her mouth shut. "Do you have any plans on where to have the wedding?"

"I wish," Gabriella replied, shaking her head slightly. "I have ideas, but nothing is for sure. Hence pages two through six with holes ripped in them and scratched out words." Gabriella held up a page of the notebook for Raychel to see. It was truly a mess, but Gabriella hadn't gotten around to fixing it yet, mostly because she still hadn't decided what to do.

Raychel laughed at the sight of the disarray. She carefully took the torn pages and examined them closely. There were some really cool places for the wedding to be held at, but from what she could make out of it all, they were either over booked, or too expensive. Raychel placed the pages down on the table and thought a moment.I"I could probably help with the location. My dad, a muggle, works for some of the big Broadway stars. He still keeps in contact with some of the more wealthier ones, so I'm sure we could come up with a marvelous to have the wedding in no time!"

"Well that would be pretty cool," Gabriella replied, impressed with Raychel's offer. If her father could get a good place for a wedding, that would be amazing. Then an idea struck Gabriella. She was going to miss Hogwarts, but what if... "I could have it here!" she exclaimed suddenly. Now she turned to Raychel. "In the garden, at night! We could have the moonlight and set up a bunch of candles." It sounded perfect. Gabriella would just have to ask Cici...

Raychel grinned. "Perfect!" she replied. Her original thought was to suggest Hogwarts, but she wanted Gabby to get there herself. Raychel knew that this was the start of one beautiful friendship. "It does sound absolutely wonderful." she added. "We could enchant the candles and have them float, like the ones in the Great Hall! You could arrange them to enhance the romantic effect." Raychel offered.

"I do love charms," Gabriella said with a sly smile. Though she excelled in all forms of magic, Charms had always been one of her favorites, along with Transfiguration and Potions. "And that wouldn't take too much work. Good idea!" Gabriella really hoped Cici would be alright with the idea, the wedding being in the summer and all.

Raychel grinned. "I'm glad I could be of assistance. she replied with a dazzling smile. She leaned back into her armchair and began absentmindedly playing with her hair. She was getting a bit jittery, for she hadn't had the time to go out on her usual long-distance run she tried to get in every other night. It was almost as if she hadn't drank anything but coffee for the past day and a half.
((OOC: As a vampire, would Gabby be able to sense that Raychel was a runner? That thought just occured to me, haha.))

Isaac had been walking- No, aimlessly wandering was a better term. The smell of Gabriella had lured him to the group commons, he noticed another smell, a human's. He had been hoping to catch her alone... Nevertheless, Isaac pushed open the door. "Hey you," Isaac said affectionately to Gabriella, placed a light kiss on her cheek and sat down. He gave a quick nod to Raychel. "Come to any conclusions?" he asked.
